The mattress is encased in worsted wool ticking which offers both durability and breathability, with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine ensuring long-lasting structure and support. The borders are upholstered with protective wool, featuring three rows of hand side-stitching for added durability as well as horizontal handles for ease of movement and air vents for improved durability. Offering all the distinctive sensations of an all-wool bed, it provides a unique springiness, combining sensuous softness with a satisfyingly supportive feel.
