We deliver, we unpack AND we set up your furniture (unless specifically stated or requested). We take away any rubbish or waste from the delivery and can offer a ‘disposal of your old furniture’ service. This additional service will incur an extra cost, but provides the convenience of having your old furniture safely disposed of by our trained delivery team when we deliver your new furniture. Delivery really is a crucial part of your purchase experience and we try to keep the costs down on this element of our sale to you. If you are within a 30-mile radius of Barrow Clark Furnishers and your order value is above £499, we offer a Free Home Delivery Service.

If you don’t meet the criteria, our Delivery service costs are subject to the specifications of your particular item(s) and also your delivery address. Please see the Delivery Charges section at the end of this page for further information. We also offer a free collection option from either our Showroom in Bear Street, Barnstaple or our Warehouse on Pottington Industrial Estate, Barnstaple. The collection location and time will depend on the item(s), so please contact us for more information and to arrange this.

More often than not we use our own delivery vehicles and teams. Our delivery members are thoroughly trained and experienced to ensure a smooth service. We carefully handle, store, unpack and set up your new furniture. On occasions we may use a specialist furniture delivery team or have the items you have ordered delivered to you directly from the manufacturer. Please be assured that when we do this, the team chosen will act as an extension of our normal delivery team and will care and handle your goods to the same high standards.

Please note, regarding delivery; access into your property is a customer responsibility.

We at Barrow Clark are very happy to arrange with you a visit to your premises before your purchase to ensure we CAN get the furniture into your property and if not, advise on a suitable alternative. This will ensure peace of mind before placing an order.

We offer this complete delivery service, because unfortunately if you purchase an item that we cannot physically get into your chosen room or even the property itself, this would be the customer’s responsibility, so we encourage you to please speak to us if you have any concerns before purchasing, as items that cannot fit into your property cannot be refunded.

Lead times will vary between suppliers and can be up to several weeks, so please do not hesitate to call us to find out the current lead times. We also have a range of items in stock and ex-display models to clear which will have shorter lead times.
